P2 Garlic Broccoli Chicken Stir Fry

This was delicious and very filling, which is always nice on HCG Phase 2.

Garlic Broccoli Chicken Stir Fry

3.5 oz Chicken Breast (I use 2 tenders)
10 cloves Garlic, peeled and smashed
1.5 cups Broccoli (I use fresh)
2 Tbsp Water
1 Tbsp Bragg's Liquid Aminos

Steam broccoli for just about 2 minutes to slightly cook it.  (Frozen broccoli may not need this step.)  Stir fry chicken in water until about half done, add garlic and finish cooking chicken.  Add broccoli and Bragg's, stirring to coat.  Serve.

When I saw this recipe I had to totally do a double take and go re-read Dr. Simeons protocol...we're allowed broccoli? How have I never known this?! had this for dinner tonight and LOVED it! :) Thanks!

I don't think it's specifically listed by him but there is no reason it shouldn't be - everyone I know who eats it on P2 does just fine. I love it, so filling, nutritious and delicious!

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I know broccoli is rogue but I'm TOTALLY trying this. Looks SO good and it seems like something I can make for the WHOLE family. It gets a little lonely eating something different from the rest of the family every night.

I don't know why broccoli is rogue - it is so good for you and totally low carb, There's no reason I can find that it shouldn't be allowed and it was always one of my #1 veggies, sometimes I ate it every day. It's so filling too. And yes, I hope your family enjoys! So nice to all eat the same thing!
